Tom Hunter
Tom Hunter is a British photographer who focuses his work within the areas of London. Most of his work is based on local problems that would be headlines in the newspapers, such as squatting. His work is shown internationally in various exhibitions.
In most of his photographs the light is quite bright from one point and hardly any of the pictures are dark. Most of the light he has used came through doors and windows but there are some outside which there is light everywhere and shadows where used of various things. (Eg: Through an abandoned roof creates different shapes of light) I like his work in general because of the themes he produces and how the light has been angled in the photos. I like this photo he has taken because of how the composition is done and the way the sunset is lighting the bushes and sky. I also like how the fire looks unrealistic and how it looks like it glowing.
